All full members shall commit themselves to the SACOD organisational principles and implement the mission statement in practise. The members shall promote the interests of SACOD at all times and actively participate in SACOD structures.

SACOD members shall strive for governance, transparency, accountability, and democratic practices both within their organisations and within SACOD. The members shall fulfil mandated SACOD duties that the member has accepted.

SACOD members shall contribute positively towards the capacity building of SACOD and its membership. All SACOD members shall contribute actively to the fundraising programmes of SACOD.
